The Day of the Lord starts with the Rapture of the Bride (Rev. 7:9) which ends the Dispensation of Grace. It also begins the Wrath of the Lamb (Rev. 6:17), i.e. the Tribulation.

 

This MUST BE for a period of 7 years according to Daniel 9:24:Seventy weeks (490 years) ARE DETERMINED upon thy people.....

 

We know that 69 weeks (483) years have been completed. "thy people" we know are the Jews and Israel.

 

If the AC confirms a covenant with many for one week and breaks it half way...and announces himself as God...how long from that point to the end...does it have to be a further 3 and half years to make up the week.Or are these the days that will be shortened..so really we have no idea how long it may be.

 

I don't believe in a shortened Tribulation because I don't believe that is what the Bible teaches. I believe when the Bible says:

 

Matthew 24:22 - And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.

 

I believe it means that if Jesus didn't return at Armaggedon at the end of seven years, no flesh would be saved. In other words, the Battle of Armaggedon would culminate in the whole world being wiped out.

Three scriptural references in the Bible that agree on the timing of the Rapture:

 

 1. Joel 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

 

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

 

Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered (Raptured): for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

 2. Acts 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

 

Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE that great and notable day of the Lord come:

 

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Raptured).

 3. Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

 

Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

 

Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude (Rapture), which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

 

Between Revelation 6:14 and Revelation 7:9 there is no human knowledge of time passed. It could be seconds, minutes, days.

 

How long would it take God to seal 144,000? One second, a minute, a nano second?

There is definitely a CHANGE of dispensation here! I believe we have to quit putting the Rapture in everywhere else except where the Bible places it, Revelation 7:9.

 

The fourth seal = war encompassing 1/4 of the earth. Could this be the Middle East? Could the Afganistan and Iraqi wars spread into the oil fields of Saudi Arabia? How much of the earth is war encompassing now? How close are we now to 1/4?

 

Revelation 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

 

Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

 

The fifth seal = martyrdom of the saints. Does it say it is worldwide? No. Here in the West we have the Laodicean Church. Our brothers and sisters right now are being killed in many muslim countries all over the Middle East, Asia and communist China. I have not kept a count but others have and I know it is enormous already!

 

Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

 

Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

 

Revelation 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

 

 

1. Jeremiah 50:46 At the noise of the taking of Babylon (Mystery Babylon), the earth is moved and the cry is heard among the nations.

 

2. 1Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

 

3. 1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

 

4. 2Corinthians 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, WHEN your obedience is fulfilled.

 

There is your Rapture timing....right there in 2 Corinthians 10:6. When will our obedience be fulfilled?.....the Bride hath made herself ready. Refining (Malachi 3:2,3)...that's what's going on now. There is a set time. Only God knows when that is of course.
